Affiché

The project “Affiché” reflects on political posters, leaflets, and newsprint from the Arab revolution period of the 1960s and 1970s, and how Arabs capitalized on the West's preoccupation with Arab women's oppression. Screenprints and posters were wheat-pasted on the walls of public spaces—and represents a shift towards technologies that were cheap and easy to produce.
